The harbor home at Harmon's Harbor

Our Story

A home. A harbor. An invitation.

Harmon's Harbor, Georgetown, Maine

The Place

An Invitation to the Harbor

The house has stood at the edge of Harmon's Harbor for over a century — a weathered clapboard home that has watched the tides come and go, the lobster boats head out before dawn, and the light changes over the water in ways that never repeat themselves.

Tide & Table began not as a business, but as a habit. Friends gathered on the porch. Someone brought wine. The fish was impossibly fresh. The evening stretched long past dark. It became clear that this place — this particular porch, above this particular harbor — was meant to be shared.

Now, a few evenings each month, we open the table to guests who are looking for something they cannot find in a restaurant: the feeling of being genuinely welcomed into a home, fed with care, and left with a memory that belongs only to that evening.

Wendy, host of Tide & Table

Your Host

A cook, a neighbor, a friend of the harbor

Wendy was born and raised on the midcoast and returned 5 years ago to make Georgetown her home. She learned to cook from her grandmothers, who believed that the best meals were made from whatever the sea and land offered that morning. She has spent decades refining her skills attending classes at Chez Boucher, traveling to France and Italy to learn new techniques, and returning always with the same conviction: find the freshest ingredients possible and set the finest table where everyone feels at home.

Each dinner is cooked and hosted by Wendy personally. There is no staff, no menu card, no performance. Just a meal, made with care, at the edge of the water.

Seasonal

The menu is written each week, shaped entirely by what is available and at its peak. Nothing is forced out of season.

Local

Every ingredient comes from within a short distance of the harbor - Sourcing from places like Eros Oysters, Goranson Farm, Bisson's Meats and many others

Intimate

A single table. A single seating. Rarley more than eight guests. The evening belongs entirely to those present.
